The objective of this project is to localize in Albanian Language the OpenOffice.org Productivity Software Suite.
It is desperately needed productivity software in Albanian language, for Kosovar users in schools, government, businesses and home users.
It is global trend and opportunity supported by United Nations and European Union, the use of Free and Open Source software.
OpenOffice.org is Open-Source business software suite, which have Text processing software (Writer), Spreadsheet (Calc), Presentation software (Impress) and Drawing software (Draw). Additionally it is empowered by Basic scripting language and database connectivity tools. Also it have the full support for XML. The download of software is freely available.
